A belated Happy New Year 2017 folks. Trust all had a wonderful time with family and friends. For the socially functional alcoholics in our midst, I can almost visualise in technicolor sound and vision, the mass consumption and disposal of empty bottles on end over the festive holiday period. Bet your New Years resolution is to lay off the booze for five bleeding minutes.

It’s been three years since the last blog entry post in April 2014. Time has indeed flown by. In-spite of the absence, my focus in relation to the platform operations have always been about new media publications and not necessarily blogging per se. A tremendous amount of work takes place behind the scenes to bring some of the most inspired meaningful art interviews you will likely find anywhere on Tim Berners-Lee‘s world wide web however such efforts do not always materialise as signed-off publications. For instance, additional interviews were in fact produced in 2016 however due to unforeseen circumstances those features could not be published.

2017 is a clean slate. A reset of sorts. A chance to start over or carry on as per before. We must always be thankful and look forward to living the extraordinary gift that is life through the good, bad and ugly. The sheer number of people who sadly passed last year is a stark reminder of our own mortality and numbered days on earth. We must learn to appreciate and make the most of what we have, time we’ve been blessed with and opportunities that come our way.

As far as New Year resolutions go, I would like to know what kind of statistical data exists if any based on the percentage of people who fulfill their plans. In my humble opinion, resolutions are well-intentioned grandiose lies we tell ourselves to justify the guilt of gluttonous indulgence. That being said, nothing worth doing is ever easy. Those that can go hard at it and those that can’t go home.
